We’ve had another great week at Waller! Our students are already diving into learning and settling in nicely to the start of the school year.
This week, we held our first fire drill of the year. We’re proud to share that our students did an outstanding job! They walked quietly, followed directions, and stayed in orderly lines throughout the drill.
We are also off to a strong start with attendance! It's great to see so many of our students arriving on time and ready to start the day. Your support plays a huge role in setting them up for success!
It’s been a great beginning to the year, and we couldn’t be prouder of how quickly our students are adapting, growing, and showing what it means to be part of the Waller community.

Reading for Education Fundraiser

We’re excited to announce the launch of our Reading for Education fundraiser — this is one of the biggest (and easiest) ways we help support our school every year. Thanks to the generous contributions from past Reading for Education campaigns, we’re thrilled to share that we were able to purchase new playground equipment to make recess even more fun and engaging for our students.
Reading for Education is an easy and safe way for students to support their school, and with your help, we know we can make this happen!
In the next couple of weeks, your child will be bringing home a lanyard with instructions on how to participate. When it comes home, please take a moment to review the information.

Picture Day

School pictures are scheduled for Thursday, October 2nd, with picture retake on November 4th. Order forms must be placed by October 5th! Please click on the links below for more information.

You are able to bring the completed form along on the day of pictures (exact amount of money will need to be attached) OR you can scan the QR code to place a digital order! Online order confirmations are not necessary to bring along on Picture Day.

Attendance Matters

Waller + Milwaukee Bucks: Attendance Matters!

Waller is once again teaming up with the Milwaukee Bucks for their "Attendance Matters" program!
Students who have no absences during the month of September will receive a certificate that allows them to claim one free Bucks ticket with the purchase of at least one additional ticket. More details will be included on the certificate.

BASD Foundation Fundraiser

Join Us This Sunday, September 21st!

Archives will be hosting a BASD Foundation Fundraising Event featuring a Celebrity Bartender Night!
All tips collected during the event will go directly to the BASD Foundation, whose mission is to support equitable access to educational and extracurricular opportunities for the Burlington Area School District community by providing a centralized donation platform.

Come out, have a great time, and support a great cause!
